Welcome to Dithutong — Botswana’s local eLearning platform built for learners and instructors who want to grow, earn, and thrive through accessible online education. By accessing our website, creating an account, enrolling in courses, or becoming an instructor, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.
1. Account Registration & Eligibility
To access any course on Dithutong, users must create an account. Users under the age of 18 are permitted to register, provided they understand and accept these terms. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and all activity under your account.
2. Instructor Content Ownership & Platform Rules
- Instructors retain full ownership of their course content.
- Instructors may not upload adult, political, violent, or copyrighted third-party content.
- Dithutong reserves the right to remove any course or suspend instructor accounts that violate platform policies or applicable law.

3. Payments, Pricing & Refunds
- All payments are made in Botswana Pula (BWP) and processed via DPO Group Botswana.
- Receipts are downloadable and sent via email after every transaction.
- Course refunds are available within 24 hours, only if less than 20% of the course has been completed.
- Processing fees are non-refundable.
- All sales are final after the 24-hour window.

4. Community Conduct
We require users to be respectful and civil. Harassment, hate speech, spamming, or abuse of any kind is strictly prohibited.
If you encounter any inappropriate behavior:
- Report it to us via the Contact Page.
- If it violates the law, contact Botswana Police at 999.
5. Limitation of Liability
Dithutong is not liable for outcomes resulting from course participation. We do not guarantee employment, business growth, or other specific results from using the platform or completing a course.
6. Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions occasionally. You will be notified via email when updates occur. Continued use of the platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Botswana. Disputes will be resolved under Botswana jurisdiction, unless another resolution method is deemed more mutually protective.
8. Intellectual Property
All materials on Dithutong including logos, trademarks, platform design, and custom tools are owned or licensed by Dithutong and may not be copied, reused, or repurposed without written permission.
9. User-Generated Content
By posting content (e.g., course discussions, reviews, or messages), you grant Dithutong a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content for promotional or operational purposes.
10. Prohibited Uses
Users may not:
- Attempt to hack, scrape, or reverse engineer the platform.
- Use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes.
- Resell or distribute platform content without authorization.
11. Third-Party Links
Dithutong may include links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our discretion for violations of our terms or policies, without prior notice.
